At The Fair – GOS

The new Platform Pumps by GOS that debuted at the Shoe Fair this year have that special, almost retro, feel to me.  They’re definitely the kind of shoe that you can wear with just about anything, and of course with the same exquisite quality that we have come to expect from GOS. Check them out!

Great, thick platform, cute little strap, and they are viewer 2 compatible with the alpha layer.  There are 8 colors available, and each one is scripted to change to black as well, so it’s actually like getting at least 2 shoes in one.  Or more, since you can switch up the colors, and you all know how much I love options!

GOS is on the Osmium sim at the Shoe Fair. GOS creator Gospel Voom is one of our awesome Shoe Fair sponsors this year, too!

Episode 14: Opening Night

The Bonnie lace-up ankle boots have a surprising open toe design, and a lot of personality. The shape is easy to love, and the funky updated style is easy to wear with casual pants or dresses. Be sure and visit Kookie at the Shoe Fair 2010 to see some great styles.

Episode 13: Dark & Rich

The Armarda Boots from Kookie have an earthy rustic thing going on, with or without the wool topper option the delicate laces and eyelets are a great touch. I loved the rich chocolate shade, if you can’t eat it might as well wear it. Kookie Lemon makes some yummy stuff!

Episode 12: Power Play

More creative Shoe Fair finds from Kookie, whose shoes are unique and offer a wide variety of styles and shapes. I love the details on the Enya Power Boots, with their futuristic shape and buckle closures.

At The Fair – HOC Industries

Are you at the Shoe Fair looking for inexpensive shoes that are great quality?  I know I always am!  At HOC Industries, you can find just that!  I don’t know how they do it, but I have never seen a pair of shoes there for over $100L, and they usually come equipped with color change scripts, so it’s like getting a bunch of shoes for a low low price.  Check out these Lowtops from HOC!

These are awesome!  Not only are they great quality, but you get soooo much in the pack.  You get both the mens & womens shoes, 3 different lace styles, and 9 colors to change the main part of the shoe, the sole, the laces, and the eyelets.  So so many options!  And?  They’re only $50L.  That’s it!!  You MUST go get these and check out their other shoes!

HOC Industries can be found on the Rhodium sim at the fair.

And big thanks to Matthew Anthony of The Petable Shop for modeling for me!  Go get some turtles!

At The Fair – S@bbia & fri.day

One of the very cool things about the Shoe Fair is that it allows you to find stores that you may not have heard of before.  S@bbia was one of those new-to-me stores that I just fell in love with.  I’m pretty simple with my clothing usually, so stumbling across these cute little Round Toe Pumps was a welcome find!

Very simple, very cute, but still with a little detail with the diamonds on the toes.  I like that the shoe is not a flat, but has a chunky short heel, so it’s just a casual little shoe.

I paired it up with one of the Film Crew tees by fri.day that I picked up from one of the haybales.  So cute!!  I’m wearing the Phantom of the Opera one, because it matched my shoes, and because I’m a huge Phantom fan!  This is the poster from the 1925 film, which I have seen, although it’s a silent film. Check it out sometime, it’s kinda scary!

You can find both S@bbia and the fri.day haybale on the Osmium sim at the fair.

Episode 11: High Art

The final style of the trio from SLink is the modern looking Sade Heel, who can deny the architecture of a great shoe, with it’s interesting heel cut out and metallic shine. I love the stacked platform sole and dual buckles. These work as well for fetish or high fashion, love them!

Episode 9: Red Riding

Siddean Munro made sure to offer Shoe Fair visitors some great new releases, and she has already made a big dent in the shoe game with her amazing quality and user friendly HUD system. The SLink Mieke Riding Boots are a nice way to remind us all that fall is soon approaching, these beautifully textured flat boots can add sass or classic casual style to your look of choice.

Live from the Action Shoe News Weather Center!

Unbelievable! There is mud everywhere! No wonder there are so many abandoned tractors around this place. Who decided to not to pave the sim crossings?

Oh, but everybody says, “It never rains in SL!” Lies!

Idyllic country setting? Forget that! These are new shoes!

Please tell me this is just mud. I could have sworn I saw some cows around here. Does anyone have a stick or some leaves?

What do you mean we are on the air???

Uhhhh… Reporting for Action Shoe News, I’m Tymmerie Thorne.
